Cash Analyst
Job Description: • Review and reconcile unapplied cash • Work closely with sites to confirm visit activity • Enter charges into the clinical trial management system (CTMS) if/when needed • Application of receivables to Cash Receipts Log for all lines of business • Transactional line-item cash posting into proprietary systems based on remittance detail provided by pharmaceutical companies • Ensure accuracy of cash postings by contacting pharmaceutical companies to verify payment remittance details • Review, interpret and discuss remittances from payers for data accuracy Requirements: • High School Diploma obtained, Associate's Degree highly preferred • 1+ year work experience with basic financial operations including: debits/credits, reconciliation, invoice structures and payment lifecycles • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills • Understanding of how payments flow, how to match payments to invoices, and how unapplied cash affects financials. • Ability to investigate discrepancies, interpret remittances, and resolve unidentified cash. • Strong attention to detail, problem solving and clear communication skills.
