Content Creator – Beauty Industry (Photos & Video)
Location: Brooklyn, NY About Us: Brooklyn Beauty Lounge is a luxury full-service salon offering nails, hair, brows, lashes, tanning, laser, and more. We are rapidly growing and looking for a top-of-the-line content creator who can take our brand to the next level. Position Overview: We are seeking a creative, highly skilled Content Creator who specializes in producing crisp, high-quality photos and videos tailored for social media platforms. This is not just about shooting — it’s about strategy. The ideal candidate will know how to capture luxury beauty services in a way that drives engagement, attracts new clients, and strengthens our brand identity. Responsibilities: • Come to the salon weekly or biweekly to shoot professional photos and videos of services, clients, and staff. • Produce high-quality, well-edited content optimized for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms. • Strategize and recommend content types and posting styles that best showcase our services and brand. • Capture a mix of behind-the-scenes, service demonstrations, transformations, and lifestyle shots. • Ensure content is always on-trend, polished, and visually aligned with a luxury brand. • Collaborate with the owner and team to bring creative ideas to life. Requirements: • Strong portfolio showcasing beauty, fashion, or lifestyle content. • Expert in photo and video shooting + editing (including color correction and retouching). • Up to date with social media trends and strategies. • Great creative eye for detail, lighting, and composition. • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and consistently deliver outstanding content. Preferred: • Experience in beauty, salon, or luxury lifestyle industries. • Knowledge of marketing strategies to help drive growth. Compensation: Competitive and based on experience. Paid per project or retainer basis.
