About the Role As an Ambulatory Care Technician II, you'll play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. Key Responsibilities Assist providers with orthopedic procedures, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for patients. Fulfill patient care responsibilities as requested by physicians or other clinicians in the office or clinic setting, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Prepare exam rooms, instruments, and equipment, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients. Perform clinical medical assisting responsibilities as required, utilizing your skills and knowledge to support our healthcare team. Model appropriate behavior, adhering to the Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare Mission, Vision, and Values. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Technical Degree or Diploma in Medical Assisting. 1-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role. Certification as a Medical Assistant from a recognized organization, such as AAMA, NCMA, NRCMA, or AMT. HEART SAVER certification from the American Heart Association. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience working in an ambulatory care setting. Knowledge of electronic medical records and practice management systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
