Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Call Center Representative to join our customer support team at blithequark. As a Call Center Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary of $26 per hour and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Utilize blithequark's prescription information systems and guidelines to process new patient enrollments by entering data into the appropriate system. Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Investigate to obtain missing prescription information and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve all data entry-related exceptions. Handle communication to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary. Resolve Third-Party Rejections by investigating, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. Make phone calls to guarantors and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve Third-Party Rejections. Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations. Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. Basic level computer skills (e.g., start and shut down a computer, use a mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between applications, save files, print documents, and access information online). Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and filling out forms online. Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Experience providing customer support to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction. Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Proficiency in Spanish and English.
