Job Overview and Responsibilities In this part-time Staff Pharmacist role, you will be responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Manager in driving and directing your Pharmacy Care Staff. Your key responsibilities will include: Patient Wellbeing: Providing exceptional patient care and supporting the management of patient care programs Pharmacy Professional Practice: Maintaining high standards of pharmacy practice and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Administrative Requirements: Managing administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy Quality Assurance: Implementing quality assurance programs to ensure high standards of care and service Customer Service: Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring patient satisfaction Staff Management: Leading, motivating, and developing your Pharmacy Care Staff to achieve their full potential Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels and ensuring effective stock control Financial Performance: Contributing to the financial performance of the pharmacy and driving business growth Loss Prevention: Implementing strategies to prevent loss and minimize waste Workflow Management: Managing workflow and ensuring efficient operations Leading with Heart and Driving Business Growth As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be expected to lead with heart, demonstrating empathy and compassion for your patients, customers, parents, and associates in your team. You will also be responsible for: Inspiring, motivating, and developing your Pharmacy Care Staff to achieve their full potential Identifying key business opportunities and contributing to the development of innovative solutions to drive growth and improve performance Implementing strategies to achieve determined goals and objectives Adapting to change and adjusting plans to thrive in a dynamic healthcare setting Seeking new ways to grow, collaborate with others, and deliver improved results Aligning others around a shared purpose to gain support and commitment Contributing to a 'team' culture that promotes awareness, energy, enthusiasm, and pride Applying acquired knowledge to drive sound results and differentiate CVS from competitors Required Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed Not on the DEA Barred Parties List Vaccination Certificate through a certified organization (e.g., APhA) Free from pending charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances Preferred Qualifications and Education While not essential, the following qualifications and education are preferred: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.
