UNITED STATES, GEORGIA, ATLANTA DELTA PROFESSIONAL SERVICES 23-JAN-2026 REF #: 31220 HOW YOU'LL HELP US KEEP CLIMBING (OVERVIEW & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES) Delta Professional Services is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Support to support hiring operations by performing fingerprinting and pre‑employment drug testing for new hire candidates. This role ensures strict adherence to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements and Delta Air Lines policies, as well as applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) standards. The ideal candidate is meticulous, confidential, customer-focused, and experienced in regulated screening environments. Biometric & Background Processing Conduct fingerprinting for new hire candidates using approved systems and capture protocols. Verify candidate identity, ensure accurate chain-of-custody, and submit prints to the appropriate authorities in accordance with regulatory requirements. Maintain secure handling, storage, and transmission of sensitive personal information. Pre‑Employment Drug Testing Administer and/or coordinate DOT-compliant pre-employment drug tests (e.g., urine collection), including candidate intake, custody-and-control forms (CCFs), and timely lab submission. Monitor and track test status and results; escalate issues and non‑compliant findings to the appropriate compliance and HR stakeholders. Ensure testing processes meet applicable standards and company policy (e.g., site setup, donor privacy, specimen integrity, documentation). Data Integrity & Reporting E nsure complete, accurate documentation for fingerprinting and drug testing (chain-of-custody, collection notes, system entries). Protect confidential information in line with privacy laws and company standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR, Security, and Compliance to resolve issues and align on candidate eligibility decisions. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS) • 1-3 years of experience in compliance, HR operations, security screening, healthcare collection, or a regulated testing environment. • Familiarity with chain‑of‑custody procedures, identity verification, and secure data handling. • Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to follow standardized protocols. • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to communicate clearly with candidates and internal teams. • Ability to work with confidential/sensitive information and maintain strict discretion. • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. • Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles. • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States. Compliance & Policy Requirements • Follow applicable DOT and TSA regulations governing screening, drug testing, and background processes. • Complete and maintain required certifications and training (e.g., specimen collection, privacy/security, safety). Physical & Schedule Requirements • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent, precise manual tasks (e.g., fingerprint capture). • Lift/move testing and fingerprinting equipment (up to ~25 lbs) as needed. • Flexibility to support hiring events or extended hours based on operational demand. Work Environment • On‑site, secure, professional setting with strict confidentiality protocols. • Interaction with candidates, labs, and internal teams in time‑sensitive workflows. • Adhere to FAA requirements and Delta Air Lines policies at all times. WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS) • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred. • Experience with fingerprinting systems (e.g., live-scan) and DOT/FAA/TSA screening programs. • Knowledge of pre‑employment drug testing processes and custody-and-control forms (CCF). • Background in aviation, transportation, or similarly regulated industries. • Basic proficiency with HRIS/applicant tracking systems and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams).
