Freight Broker & Truck Dispatcher (Remote- Contract)
Job Description ATQ is an Ontario-based carrier operating regional Ontario–Quebec lanes. We are seeking an experienced Freight Broker & Dispatcher who can both source consistent freight and dispatch our truck efficiently. This role is ideal for someone with existing broker or shipper relationships who understands carrier operations and wants to grow with a professional fleet. Responsibilities • Source and secure freight from brokers and/or shippers • Negotiate rates and manage load confirmations • Dispatch and plan truck operations • Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and driver communication • Ensure compliance with Canadian HOS regulations • Manage PODs and basic load documentation Requirements • 2+ years experience in freight brokerage and/or dispatch • Proven ability to bring consistent freight • Knowledge of DAT, Truckstop, Loadlink (preferred) • Strong understanding of Canadian HOS • Professional communication and planning skills Compensation • Independent contractor role • Performance-based pay (per truck / percentage) • Long-term growth opportunity as fleet expands Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
