Description Join the #1 Outpatient Imaging Team in Northeast Florida – Gate Parkway Location Precision Imaging Centers, the leading provider of outpatient imaging services in Northeast Florida is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Evening Radiologic Technologist / MRI Tech Assistant to join our team at the Gate Parkway center in Jacksonville, FL. Position: Radiologic Technologist / MRI Tech Assistant Location: Gate Parkway – Jacksonville, FL Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (evening shift) No call. No overnight shifts. Be part of a collaborative team where your growth is our priority. This role provides the exciting opportunity to cross-train in MRI while also assisting with MRI procedures in a state-of-the-art outpatient imaging environment. Position Overview & Essential Functions • Take patient medical histories prior to imaging (10%) • Interpret doctors’ scanning instructions accurately (10%) • Explain procedures clearly to ensure patient comfort (10%) • Position and immobilize patients for optimal imaging (10%) • Set technical parameters and operate imaging equipment (30%) • Evaluate image quality and determine if repeats are needed (10%) • Assist radiologists with arthrograms (10%) • Support other imaging modalities as needed (10%) Non-Essential Duties • Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of procedure areas Requirements Education & Certifications • FL Radiologic Technologist License • ARRT(R) Certification • BLS Certification • High School Diploma or GED Experience • 1 year of medical terminology experience preferred • Previous hospital or outpatient imaging experience a plus Skills & Abilities • Strong written and verbal communication • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Knowledge of medical terminology and radiological procedures • Venipuncture skills Physical & Work Requirements • Ability to sit, bend, and stand for extended periods • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs from ground to waist level • Evening shifts required; no call, no overnight shifts Key Competencies • Dependable • Flexible • Team Player • Compassionate • Strong Time Management What We Offer • Competitive pay + Bonus based on positive patient reviews • Full-time benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance, Accident and Critical Illness Insurance, Company-Paid Life Insurance, and more • Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays • Cross-training in MRI and additional modalities if desired • Recognition and referral bonuses • Supportive, team-oriented culture in a Great Place to Work Certified environment About Precision Imaging Centers Precision Imaging Centers specializes in seven imaging modalities and operates multiple locations throughout Northeast Florida.
