Industrial Design Intern (Summer 2025)
About the position Munchkin's Industrial Design Internship Program is designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to a career in the consumer products industry. Munchkin develops innovative, modern, and credible products for babies and children that make parents' lives easier and more enjoyable by thinking of 'the little things.' We are looking for interns to join our creative Product Design Team in Van Nuys, CA. This is a real design job, working on real products. You will be able to see your product designs in retail stores. Responsibilities • Generating concepts for new products • Problem-solving and styling new products • Quick sketching and creating mockups • 3D modeling of product designs • Preparing presentation boards • Corresponding with overseas operations Requirements • Excellent sketch skills (Pencil and Digital) • Proficient with Illustrator, Photoshop, SolidWorks, and Keyshot • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people of all levels • Ability to function in a team environment • Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills • Must be able to work on-site in Van Nuys, CA • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Benefits • Hybrid work environment • Half-day Fridays all year round • Annual weeklong global office closures Apply tot his job
