This position is entirely remote, allowing for an independent contractor arrangement.

Key Responsibilities
?Accurately transcribe audio recordings of depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings.
?Maintain rigorous attention to detail while adhering to client-specific style guides.
?Collaborate effectively with our in-office team for support and guidance when needed.
?Manage your workload to meet strict client deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of transcripts.

Required Skills
?Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
?Exceptional listening skills coupled with outstanding literacy, including grammar and spelling.
?Strong ability to adhere to deadlines and follow style guides.
?Proficient typing skills in both speed and accuracy.
?Familiarity with legal terminology is essential.
?Ability to process sensitive audio/text content which may be distressing or offensive.
?Capability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
?Must be able to pass a background check.
?Court reporting students are also welcome to apply.
