The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Part Time Student for JD Waterloo Works - Foundry Division working remotely, you will:
• Learn?how to identify, analyze and apply information to support issue resolution.
• Develop tools to aid in data analysis and collection.
• Participate?in developmental assignments to gain experience.
• Perform?activities according to project plans and schedule.
This position is not available to students on immigration visas.What Skills You Need
• Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited college/university.
• Graduation date of May 2026?or later.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
• Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly.
• Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly.
• If local, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
What Makes You Stand Out
• Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, Business Analytics or Actuary/Statistics; others may apply.
• Understanding of various functions within a cast iron foundry.
• Background in quality and process controls.
• Familiar with PowerBi and data analysis software.
• Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
