Human Resources Representative
Purpose of Position:
To lead the administration of LOA policies and mandated LOAs under FMLA, USERRA, ADA, etc. You will engage with and respond to all employees with LOA questions within the appropriate timeframe and ensure you guide them through the steps for their LOA. In this role, you will track all returns and, where necessary, make contact and document (letters, etc.) to those that do not... return on time as required to determine status. Create reporting for the Operations team. This role will report to the Manager of Benefits Administration.
Responsibilities:
Answer all Leave related questions and provide employees with information/resources to initiate the leave process while meeting all SLAs
Bring your expertise in FMLA processes, especially as it applies to intermittent and, where necessary, become involved in investigating abuse
Monitor FMLA Certifications as necessary
Run reporting for Operations regarding current LOAs
Monitor the RTW process for all LOAs that are protected. Ensure we document (certified letter) where necessary and track return or determine status
Process Terminations for employees that do not return
This position will also be responsible for answering fundamental employee benefits questions regarding all H&W plans
Coordinate with the management team where abuse is suspected, and if necessary, involve the EE relations team
Track employee?s compensation and LOAs
Position Requirement:
Flexible to work Mon-Fri 9AM-6PM. EST
At least 2 years of ADA experience working in Human Resources
Good understanding of benefit plans and can answer basic employee questions.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as working with HRIS systems required.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the right balance of positive attitude and confidentiality.
Ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and written with all levels of staff and management throughout the organization with extreme attention to detail.
Workday experience a plus
Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize multiple demands and work independently and with others while creating a positive partnership with other teams.
Excellent time management skills are imperative
Position requires flexible availability and must be able to adjust schedule influenced by current business needs
Must be prompt and dependable with excellent attendance history.
Must pass mandatory background checks, which may include pre-screenings, illegal drug tests, and credit checks
