Requirements
? Bachelor?s degree in Education, followed by a Master's or Doctoral degree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs.
? Special Education Teachers may specialize in areas such as K-12th grade, Mild-Moderate Level Students, or Severe Autism. These specializations may be indicated as endorsements on your license.
? Experience with student evaluations, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
? Active Special Education State Teaching License required.
? Certification: State License, 2 years of school experience, and Education Certificate if applicable.
? Teaching credential with any of the 6 Special Education endorsements.

? Hours: Full-Time and Part-Time options available

Responsibilities
? Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
? Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to individual learning goals and needs.
? Assess student progress, adapt curriculum materials, and employ behavior management techniques to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
