- What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and track eligibility for various job-protected leaves, including FMLA and other statutory leaves
- Administer a caseload of up to 150 claims in compliance with industry best practices
- Serve as a resource for clients and staff regarding leave requirements and internal policies
- Update claim files and notes accurately in the system
- Coordinate return-to-work efforts with claimants, providers, and clients
- What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative office environment for Level I; 3-5 years of leave management experience for Level IV
- Strong organizational skills and ability to document files accurately
- Understanding of Federal and statutory regulations regarding FMLA, CFRA, and PDL
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and web applications
- How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in leave management or disability claims administration
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to educate and counsel on sensitive issues
- Good planning and organization skills in a high-volume work environment
- Familiarity with ERISA guidelines and Disability Plan Documents
