Job Description
As a Telephonic Health Advisor at CVS Health, you will play a crucial role in providing telephonic support and health advice to our customers. You will be responsible for assessing their health needs, providing education on medical conditions, and advising on treatment options. Our ideal candidate is a compassionate and knowledgeable healthcare professional who is comfortable using telecommunication technology to assist customers.
You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that customers receive accurate and timely information. Your role will involve active listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving to address a variety of health concerns. You must be able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, navigate computer systems efficiently, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
- Valid certification or licensure in nursing, pharmacy, or another relevant healthcare discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent telephonic communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computers and telecommunication technology.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and health conditions.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide telephonic health advice and support to customers.
- Assess customer health needs and provide appropriate education and advice.
- Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Stay updated on the latest healthcare practices and guidelines.
- Manage multiple calls simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic support to customers.
