As a Kubernetes Engineer (Weeknight Shift), you’ll be the critical backbone keeping Air Force Platform One and Air Mobility Command systems online, secure, and resilient while the world sleeps. If you thrive in high-autonomy environments and value mission impact, this role is built for you. ⚙️ What You’ll Do • Support continuous uptime for critical national systems • Engineer and manage multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters • Use Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps for end-to-end automation • Apply security-first principles and DoD compliance standards • Perform proactive monitoring and rapid incident response • Collaborate with elite engineers across time zones What You Bring • Proven expertise in Kubernetes, Istio, and Helm • Experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP • Proficiency with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and container security • Strong Linux and networking background • CKA certification preferred About Rackner Rackner is a cloud-native software consultancy specializing in DevSecOps, AI/ML, and multi-cloud architecture.
