Position: Maternal Mental Health Specialist (Hybrid/Remote) Maternal Mental Health Specialist (Hybrid/Remote) This role qualifies as a Center of Excellence (CoE) position, which provides clinicians with a structured pathway to develop expertise in a specific program, niche, or service line while maintaining a reduced caseload. The CoE model is designed to foster both professional growth and organizational innovation by allowing clinicians to dedicate time to program development, leadership, and specialized service expansion. As clinicians progress within the CoE framework, they can further reduce their caseload expectations in alignment with their program's growth and impact. Our goal is to empower all staff to explore their passion areas, refine their leadership skills, and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of our organization and the field of mental health. The Maternal Mental Health Specialist will serve as a key support to our Maternal Mental Health Service Line , delivering high-quality care to individuals navigating perinatal mental health concerns. In this role, clinicians are expected to carry a caseload where 50% or more of their clients are within the Maternal Mental Health Program. The specialist will also be responsible for completing designated tasks as assigned by the Program Lead, which may include program coordination, community outreach, collaboration on clinical initiatives, and participating in training or consultation efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician passionate about reproductive and perinatal mental health to help shape the direction and impact of a growing specialty service area. Responsibilities • Provide individual and/or group therapy to clients in the Maternal Mental Health Program. • Maintain a caseload with 50% or more of clients served within the maternal mental health population. • Participate in CoE-related activities, including: • Supporting program development and implementation efforts. • Collaborating with the Program Lead on designated projects and tasks. • Participating in specialized training, outreach, and community partnerships. • Stay current on best practices and emerging research in maternal mental health. • Collaborate with other clinicians and service providers to ensure holistic, integrated care. • Attend relevant team meetings, consultations, and supervision as required. Qualifications • Associate or Full License (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC, LSW, or equivalent). • Experience or strong interest in maternal mental health, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, or reproductive mental health. • Demonstrate ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting. • Commitment to culturally responsive and trauma-informed care. • Strong organizational skills and flexibility to manage both clinical and programmatic responsibilities.
