Oracle EPM PBCS/EPBCS Principal Consultant

About the position The role involves providing functional consulting services for Oracle EPM projects, acting as a subject matter expert throughout the implementation lifecycle. The consultant will communicate effectively with clients, guide them through Oracle functionalities, and ensure project deliverables are met. The position also includes mentoring junior associates and continuously improving the delivery model to enhance project efficiency and customer value. Responsibilities • Provide Oracle EPMPBCS/EPBCS functional consulting services. • Lead clients through the entire cloud application service implementation lifecycle for Oracle EPM projects. • Communicate effectively and drive project deliverables for Oracle EPM projects. • Deploy Oracle EPM on-site or remotely for clients. • Guide customers through Oracle-delivered functionality and advise on best practices. • Map business processes to delivered functionality and document customer requirements. • Configure application functionality and assist with testing. • Maintain ongoing relationships with customers. • Work with peers to improve the delivery model for increased project efficiency. • Mentor junior-level associates to ensure their professional growth. Requirements • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience implementing transformative planning solutions for Fortune 500 companies. • Experience with Oracle Planning Cloud, including Strategic Modeling, Financials, Projects, Capital, and Workforce Modules. • Experience with Hyperion Planning, including Projects, Capital, and Workforce Modules. • Proficiency in Smart View, Management Reporting, and/or Financial Reporting. • Strong financial acumen and understanding of client business processes and planning models. • Experience with budgeting and forecasting-related leading practices. • Familiarity with financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow. • Experience with foreign currency translation and intercompany eliminations. • Ability to interact effectively with finance and accounting stakeholders. • Proven ability to advise clients on high-level architecture and functional requirements. • Experience leading small teams (two to four people). • Ability to create requirements and design documents.
