We are looking for a talented Social Media Intern to help share our new product with the world If you have experience managing engaging social media accounts (your own or for others) and solid knowledge of Shopify e-commerce, this role is for you. Responsibilities include creating engaging, informative, and visually creative content for Instagram, Facebook, and other channels, updating our Shopify site with new content and products. Help tell our brand’s story and grow with us in a collaborative, feedback-friendly team. You'll have the creative freedom to experiment with new ideas and directly see the results of your work. Compensation ranges from $18 to $20/hour based on experience. This part-time position (8-12 hours a week) offers flexible hours. Duties • Develop compelling written content for articles, social media, and other digital platforms. • Conduct keyword research to optimize content for search engines (SEO) and improve visibility. • Utilize social listening tools to understand audience preferences and trends. • Create visually appealing content using Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. • Manage social media accounts using tools to schedule posts and analyze performance. • Engage in public relations activities to promote content across various channels. • Monitor web analytics using Google Analytics to assess content performance and make data-driven decisions. • Edit and proofread all written materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines. • Assist in branding initiatives by creating consistent messaging across all platforms. • Contribute to e-commerce strategies by developing product descriptions and promotional content. • Create multimedia content, including photography and video editing, to enhance storytelling efforts. Qualifications • Proven experience in content creation or a related field • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts including social media marketing, relationship management, and branding. • Proficient in SEO best practices, keyword research techniques, and web analytics tools. • Experience with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite) is highly desirable. • Strong understanding of social media management tools and their applications in digital marketing campaigns. • Excellent proofreading skills with an eye for detail to ensure high-quality output. • Ability to work collaboratively • Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt writing style for different audiences.
