Stack Operator (Night Shift)

As a critical part of Twelve’s development of a first-of-a-kind process for producing sustainable aviation fuel from CO2, the stack testing program sits at the interface between lab-scale and commercial production units. In this role, you will be a key member in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Twelve’s CO2 electrolysis systems. You will engage in activities including electrolyzer stack install, start up, operation, and replacement, as well as equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Additionally, you will monitor and collect data to help maintain and improve performance, and provide feedback to our development teams. The Stack Operator will be responsible for ensuring that all operations tasks are performed safely and according to the relevant operating procedures. The position will be mainly located in Tulsa, Oklahoma to operate our next generation electrolyzers. This role is fixed-term with a 4-month employment period. What You Will Do • Be a champion for safety by promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring a safe work environment with a commitment to zero workplace injuries • Ensure process equipment is operating correctly • Rapidly solve operational problems and avoid unexpected delays and shutdowns • Complete planned electrolyzer activities, including following the standard procedure to successfully start-up, turndown, and shutdown of the electrolyzer • Complete basic maintenance and troubleshooting activities to ensure minimal downtime • Maintain a log of daily plant/electrolyzer health, including run status, any alarms that occurred during the shift and how the problems were solved. Communicate these issues to other team members and engineers • Report safety concerns including near miss, hazards, and incident reporting through the appropriate channels • Operate control board for the electrolyzer via an HMI Who You Are • Night Shift Hours • 5:30 PM - 6 AM • 1+ years of relevant work experience in Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, or similar. • Able to operate process equipment and work with compressed gasses • Able to troubleshoot process equipment in a manufacturing or chemical plant setting • Comfortable operating a control board via HMI • Experience with equipment maintenance / LOTO (Lock out tag out) • Experience working in a refinery or chemical plant is a plus • Excellent communication skills, able to work as part of a team • Stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 60 lbs • Comfortable wearing PPE for long periods of time • Forklift Operations (Not required, but nice to have) Twelve Benefits • Medical, dental, and vision coverage • Paid sick days and vacation • Competitive salary and equity compensation commensurate with experience • Diverse and inclusive work environment At Twelve, it's important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. United States Wage Range: $26.40/hr - $39.00/hr, depending on what level you are brought on at.
