POSITION OVERVIEW: Understand the technical infrastructure such as networking, storage, operating systems, virtualization, and lower level platform software. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assist in the development of an architectural governance process to deliver an optimal level of maintainability, reliability, and cost effectiveness. 2. Participate in defining processes and infrastructure architectural alignment of the technical components to application, data, and business needs. 3. Provide technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate. 4. Ability to apply basic computer concepts, theories, principles and methods to projects, business problems, issues, and questions. 5. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures. 6. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field • Seven (7) years of experience in infrastructure engineering, architecture or related technology leadership roles • Proven expertise evaluating and recommending infrastructure technologies, platforms and architectural patterns. • Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure domains including computer, storage, network, and cloud operations • Experience advising senior technology leadership on investment planning, technology adoption and standards definition. • Strategic advisory skills to influence enterprise infrastructure investments and technology decisions. • Advanced technical expertise to define and recommend infrastructure architectural standards. • Strong communication and influencing skills to guide senior leaders and Infrastructure teams effectively.
