Providing expert care within telemetry nursing requires focus, critical thinking, and adaptability. This opportunity is ideal for RNs with telemetry experience who are ready to contribute their skills in a dynamic hospital setting under a 13-week contract. Location: This position is based in Providence, Rhode Island—a vibrant city known for its rich history, coastal charm, and renowned healthcare facilities. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive telemetry nursing care, monitoring patients’ cardiac rhythms and vital signs. • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and effective treatment plans. • Adapt to unit staffing needs, readily floating up to three times per night shift as required. • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and union regulations, including priority floating assignments for travelers. Qualifications and Experience: • Valid Rhode Island RN License. • Current BLS and ACLS certification. • Proven telemetry nursing experience with strong clinical judgment. • Flexibility to work night shifts from 7pm to 7am on a 36/48-hour schedule. • Ability to respond proactively to changing unit needs and staffing assessments every 4 hours. Schedule: • Night shift: 7pm – 7am • Work schedule: 36 hours on, 48 hours off Additional Information: • This position follows a union contract where travelers float first during shifts. • Local candidates are welcomed and considered at the same rate as travelers. • The selection process is efficient, with quick interviews and prompt offers supported by strong managerial relationships.
