Temporary Legal Assistant (Litigation)

JURISolutions is seeking an experienced litigation-focused Legal Assistant to join our law firm client's team for a 3-month engagement, with the possibility to extend into a full-time position. In this role, the candidate will be expected to assist with drafting and filing pleadings, case initiation documents, discovery requests and responses and subpoenas. Administrative tasks including formal letters and client memorandums, local rule research and some calendaring may also be expected. The ideal candidate is independent and detail-oriented, proactive, organized and has strong multi-tasking, critical thinking, and communication skills. Additionally, the ability to remain composed and focused under pressure is also critical, as effective collaboration and clear, confident interaction with colleagues and clients is paramount.
