Job title: Behavioral Health Accommodation Consultant Company: U.S. Physical Therapy Job description: Location: Remote from home Job Title: Behavioral Health Accommodation Consultant Job Type: Full-Time with benefits Hours: Average of 40 hours per week Shifts: Monday-Friday, regular office hours Salary Range: $72,000 - $90,000 • salary negotiable based on degree and experience Position Overview: The Behavioral Health Accommodation Consultant is a subject matter expert and will provide consultation both internally and externally with healthcare providers, clients, and client partners to ensure employee success. This position will work remotely from a home office and collaborate closely with the Behavioral Health Solutions Manager. Company Perks: • Excellent benefits package including health, dental, & vision • 401k with employer match • Professional Development Funds • Accrued Paid Time Off + Company Paid Holidays • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Annual Calm.com subscription • Work/Life Balance • Opportunities for professional development and specialized training • Mentorship programs • Supportive Leadership Team who dedicates their energy to your success • DE&I Focus Groups Job Duties: Provide an expert resource for the interactive process under our client’s defined process Provide specialized consultation and subject matter expertise in evaluating requests for RTW and accommodations Appropriate triaging of cases to ensure value added Follow client policy & practices including medical/legal compliance Ensure accurate understanding of job analyses and associated essential functions for employers Communicate with employee regarding requests, options, and outcomes as appropriate Communicate with healthcare providers as appropriate Consult with internal and external resources as necessary Work with supervising managers as appropriate to educate and identify accommodations Provide documentation and tracking of the process, recommendations, and outcomes * Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare field including but not limited to Athletic Training, Nursing, Nurse Practitioner, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Social Work Experience in behavioral health and psyco-social aspects of the field Valid state behavioral health license and/or certification commensurate with professional designation Preferred Qualifications: • Active behavioral health license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.) highly preferred Working knowledge of return to work and job accommodation procedures * Experience in occupational/vocational settings (assessment, job coaching, placement, etc) • Utilization Review or Claims Management experience a plus.
