Department: ICE | CASL CA ROC Radiation Dosimetrist Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: Responsible for providing physicians and therapists with treatment planning, calculations, quality assurance planning, constructing custom blocks as needed for patient treatment, taking required measurements on patients, consulting with physicians and other therapists in planning and delivering patient treatments and maintaining quality control. Qualifications: EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of treatment planning techniques, record and verify techniques, scheduling, physician protocols or (prerogatives), equipment and/or software operation, safety and quality control guidelines as acquired through clinical rotation of all treatment areas (machines) for a period of one year.
