Responsibilities • Execute a visionary cybersecurity strategy that aligns with Cleveland Clinic's enterprise goals and care priorities. • Lead with an understanding of industry benchmarks and emerging threats to set industry standards. • Ensure the cybersecurity program remains a high-functioning asset with proven results. • Address evolving third-party risks, AI-driven vulnerabilities, and emerging attack vectors with agility and precision. • Leverage existing systems to continuously optimize performance and resilience. • Foster trust through strong partnerships with clinical and operational teams to develop and implement best practices in cybersecurity. • Work closely with senior executives, including the CEO and Board of Directors, ensuring alignment and effective communication. • Represent Cleveland Clinic in industry and governmental discussions to shape the future of healthcare cybersecurity. • Cultivate a culture of collaboration and shared purpose within a digitally advanced, cross-functional team. • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. • Security certification (e.g., CISSP, CHS) and ITIL Foundations certification required within six months of position start date. • 10 years of experience with information technology, with at least five years in a leadership role. • Extensive experience in healthcare information security, with a proven track record of leading large-scale technology projects and managing teams. Nice-to-haves • MBA or master's degree in technology or business field. • Proven expertise in cybersecurity leadership within large, complex organizations, ideally within healthcare or similarly regulated industries. • Demonstrated ability to design and implement robust cybersecurity programs that deliver measurable results. • Strong technical acumen, combined with exceptional strategic, operational and interpersonal skills.
