Remote Medical Transcriptionist - MUST LIVE IN GA

This is a FULLY REMOTE position but you must live in the State of Georgia! Work from home equipment is provided. Duration: Permanent... Shift: M-F from 11 am - 8 pm (Will need to work ONE Saturday a month and will get a weekday shift off that week). Qualifications: ? Recent experience as a medical transcriptionist, 6 months minimum. Secretary, scribe, patient registrar or rev cycle candidates will not qualify. ? Hospital transcription with some knowledge and experience with pathology. ? Must have excellent knowledge of medical terminology, English grammar, composition, and spelling. ? Must have word processing experience, and ability to type sixty (60) words per minute. Job Description: Transcribes various medical reports and performs general secretarial duties. Transcribes medical dictation services into a word processing system. Maintains files, medical reports, and other documentation for storage. Trains and orients new employees in the department and procedures. Performs equipment troubleshooting and problem solving. May act as Lead Medical Transcriptionist in the absence of supervisor. Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to Manager. Compensation: $17-32/hr (Based upon years of experience, not guaranteed highest pay) Benefits: Offer amazing benefits package that includes a pension. ?
