Job Description
As a remote employee in the DPS division at American Airlines, you will be an integral part of our customer service and operations team. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment while helping to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Your primary responsibilities will include responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing information about flight schedules, ticketing, and other services, and assisting customers with their travel needs. You will also collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless communication and the highest level of customer satisfaction.
We are looking for proactive individuals who are detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and possess the ability to work independently. You should be comfortable handling multiple tasks and adept at using technology to perform your duties effectively.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Proficiency with basic computer applications
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information
- Assist customers with booking and ticketing
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and issues
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Document and update customer records as necessary
- Stay informed about company policies and procedures
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge
Educational Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Additional certifications in customer service or communications are a plus
Experience:
- Previous customer service experience is preferred
- Experience in the airline industry is a bonus but not required
