What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
? Conduct exploratory data analysis, including statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and statistical inference
? Build forecasting and continuous learning models for optimizing smart energy devices in demand response programs
? Code robust models using Python to address client challenges and develop internal tools
? Collaborate with data engineering and visualization teams for delivering client projects
? Develop cloud-based tools and processes to scale data analysis

What Is Required (Qualifications)
? Bachelor?s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, management information systems, or a related field
? 2+ years of experience in a data science role (master?s degree can substitute for experience)
? Proficiency in open-source data science languages, particularly Python
? Familiarity with Python data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib
? Excellent oral and written communication skills

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
? Master?s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, management information systems, or a related field
? A portfolio of Data Science/ML projects available for review
? Knowledge of geospatial data processing and experience with GIS software (e.g., QGIS) and libraries (e.g., geopandas)
? Experience with Azure, especially Azure Databricks for data processing and machine learning
? Experience writing complex SQL queries and using git
