Associate Field Service Representative - Houston, TX

What you will do -

As an Associate Field Service Representative, you will perform independent and/or supervised on-site installations, preventive maintenance, and repair of our Mako Robot. The Mako Robot is a highly complex robotics medical equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction and providing both phone and on-site customer support. Also, verifying and approving the operational quality of Stryker systems and equipment.
? Exercise sound judgment and decision making within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods/techniques for obtaining solutions
? Independently manage work calendar and travel schedule
? Serve as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters.
? Achieve and maintain a high level of performance, allowing Stryker to meet and exceed the company?s financial goals and performance metrics
? Collaborate with Sr. Level Field Service Representatives and Sales
? Manage and control field inventory, tools, test equipment, technical documentation, and other assigned equipment
? Prepare and submit applicable field service documentation in a complete, accurate and timely manner. This includes but is not limited to, field service reports, expense reports and service checklists
? Other duties may include, but are not limited to, travel and assist in other Field Service team members territories, instructing/training customers on technical operation and maintenance of equipment, software and hardware upgrades/updates, installation, and maintenance of equipment at conventions, road shows, and cadaver labs or seminars as required

What you need ?

Required ?
? 3+ years of relevant experience
? High school diploma or equivalent
? Demonstrates functional technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills
? Possess ability to schedule and work independently or with a team on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors ? required

Preferred ?
? Associates or Bachelors
? Previous experience as a technical field service professional or in a relevant capacity is ? preferred
