Senior IT Asset Data Analyst - Remote

We are in search of a Senior IT Asset Data Analyst to become an integral part of our team, dedicated to the strategic oversight and enhancement of IT asset data. This pivotal role demands a keen analytical perspective and the capability to thoroughly investigate asset records to maintain accuracy, health, and alignment with our organizational standards. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to identify emerging trends, highlight policy deviations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose impactful improvements to both data integrity and operational processes.

In this position, you will play a crucial role in advancing asset management methodologies, emphasizing the accuracy of data across software, hardware, and capital assets. Your specialized knowledge will aid in elevating the overall quality of asset data, providing you the opportunity to contribute significantly to the ongoing enhancement of our IT asset management (ITAM) program.

Key Responsibilities
? Evaluate the quality of asset data across all software and hardware assets, including capital assets, using ServiceNow.
? Identify essential data sources and create repeatable methodologies to detect data anomalies, ensure compliance, and reveal trends.
? Employ data visualization techniques to communicate trends, issues, and opportunities effectively to stakeholders.
? Collaborate with technical teams, business analysts, and process owners to disseminate findings and assist in the formulation of effective remediation plans.
? Develop and produce reports encompassing compliance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trend analyses.
? Engage in continuous improvement initiatives related to both data management and operational processes.
? Support enhancements in IT asset management, including the automation of inventory and asset tracking methodologies.
? Contribute to the evolution of our IT asset management (ITAM) program by recognizing gaps and influencing governance standards.

Qualifications
? A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
? Strong expertise in data mining, statistical analysis, and mathematics.
? Proficiency in managing large datasets with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Power BI.
? Familiarity with ServiceNow (particularly HAM Pro, SAM Pro, and CMDB); experience with Splunk and Power BI is an advantage.
? Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
? Strong analytical acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
? Understanding of the System/Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Project Management methodologies.
? Knowledge of finance and procurement processes, including accounts payable, depreciation, net book value, and fixed assets.
? A commitment to continual process improvement.
