b19 Consulting is working with an established power company to find a Substation P&C Designer that comes from an electric utility background Preferred Qualifications: ? 6+ years utility substation P&C design experience (15kV through to 500kV) ? Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship. ? Strong communication skills to coordinate with project engineers, designers and client representatives. ? Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel & Word. ? QA/QC of schematic designs and coping of new projects ? AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bentley Descartes or Raster Design experience ? Proficiency with SEL or GE relays ? Detailed design of new substation layouts using electrical schematics, bill of materials and equipment specifications. ? Substation lightning stroke shielding plan and grounding plan experience ? Knowledge relay protection & control engineering ? Ability to lead a large portion or the entirety of a substation design project. If interested and qualified, please apply with an updated resume.
