We are seeking a skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physiology, medical terminology, and anatomy. This position involves transcribing and typing medical reports for a busy medical office.Duties...
• Listen to recorded dictations from healthcare professionals
• Transcribe and type medical reports, summaries, and patient histories
• Ensure accuracy of medical terminology, spelling, and grammar
• Edit transcribed documents for clarity and consistency
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Communicate with healthcare professionals to clarify dictation as needed
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical transcription or recent education in the field
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Proficient in typing and using transcription software
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
